Arbitration & Conciliation Centre – Bengaluru (Domestic & International) has been established under aegis of High Court of Karnataka at 3rd Floor, ‘Khanija Bhavan’ (East Wing) vide G.O. No. LAW 273 LAC 2012 dated 06.12.2012.


Pro-bono Services

The Centre provides Pro-bono Arbitrator service to the persons having a dispute worth of Rs.50,000/- to Rs.5,00,000/- and who are unable to meet the expenses of Arbitrator fee by reason of economic or other disabilities and to secure the operation of the ADR system with the object of providing free legal aid/services as contemplated under The Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. In order to facilitate such needy persons to avail Arbitral Services at the Centre, the Administrative and miscellaneous/sitting expenses are minimized by fixing the consolidated sum towards the same as hereafter; If the value of the claims/disputes does not exceed Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Only) then Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only). If the value of the claims/disputes is between Rs.3,00,001/- (Rupees Three Lakh One Rupee only) to Rs.5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakh only) then Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only)
